brake issue

I have an 07 camry with 46000 miles, I recently had the rear pads replaced at a local trusted shop(family friend) and was shown some slight leaking from the caliper. I have the platinum extended warranty and brought it to my dealer. They state they could not duplicate or find the leak and charged me 29$ for a brake inspection. Is that legit? Most everywhere does free brake checks. Plus with isn't their no fee with the platinum warranty? What is the diffeence between the standard 36000 mile warranty and platinum? I have never been charged during the standard warranty.

Thanks for the insight folks...I am not angry at the charge but curious as to why I was charged for what is often a free service etc....

Don't bother asking the backshop. Go directly to a manager who can tell you why you were chraged.

Take pictures next time to show them... a few times I had to show them how I find out my car had a problem. Luckily they always have an open mind and allow me to show them, than they confirm it is a problem. Other times they did just fine finding the problem.
