KYB's are the only shocks i've found so far...unless you go with a coilover, and to be honest..the ride quality isn't great on coilovers trust me!!

Yes KYB is the only struts out there aside from coilovers.

You dont like the ride of your struts and springs? If I remember correct you have the Camry Tein S-Techs (not solara)? What don't you like about the ride?

KYB are the top branded struts out there. My rears are still the original struts with 214k KMs on them. Only reason i replaced the fronts last year is the strut mount broke and snapped my spring.

I do tracking with the car so i push it hard... and they're awesome for daily driving.

Yea the only reason I went with coilovers was because KYB was the only option, and from past experience, I didn't want to get the KYB. I had the AGX on my trans am with eibach springs and full hotchkis sways, and the car still rode like a boat.

Your comment about coils having a rough ride isnt quite true. What coilovers have you driven on? I can tell you that if I put my BC's on soft, they are as soft as the factory setup, or hardly noticeable. Obviously on full stiff, it's a different story, but I've been extremely satisfied with the ride quality, and I drive 100 miles a day with only about 2 inches of frame clearance

I would think tokico or bilstein would have something available for the gen6, but I know KYB is the only one for the gen5.

^ Tokico and bilstein stopped making them after the Gen 4... only KYB is being made for the Gen 5 and 6.

Unless you want to go with the LE or XLE struts which will give a smoother ride.

^^ohh gotcha, yea i figured as much. I had tokico's on my prelude and they were freakin great, and my buddy has bilstein's on his EVO, and they are really nice..

I wonder if the LE/XLE struts are interchangeable, cuz im sure they would be softer than the SE...

still can't figure out why they didn't do more aftermarket for the gen5 has as much potential as anything else out there, but they don't offer anything!! oh well, thats why I like it, cuz its not a 350Z/evo/S2k that EVERYONE has.. i could afford one, but my car is paid off and until it dies, its mine

I was going to get KYB but decided to get Manroe for a smoother ride. The guy at autozone told me that a lot of people with SE's switch to monroe LE struts for the smoother ride so thats what I did.

LE and XLE can be used across the Gen 6 line up, interchangeable...all the same design just different feel.

YUP! Thats what the guy at autozone said. So just decide what kind of ride you want and go with those.
