Space under drivers seat for sub

Hi everyone

I have a slim subwoofer that I am hoping to install under the front drivers seat. Does anyone know the exact clearance from the floor to the bottom of the seat? I would like to build a small box to go under it.

Thanks!

best do the measuring yourself. You see everything first hand yourself. I remember someone did a sub for the middle. The space between the back seat and the middle arm rest in the front.

You're probably better off checking the passenger side. Driver side will have more mechanism and less area to work with since thats the main seating.

Passenger side will be a better bet, only if you dont have the upgraded JBL sound system since the amp sits under the passenger side seat.

re

Thanks everyone. My question was more if anyone has installed a sub below a seat, since trunk installs seem much more common.
