2007 SE Factory Nav JBL Bluetooth update?

I'm having issues w/ others hearing me on the other end while using bluetooth. I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 and have had no issues pairing it or with volume. The reception for the folks on the other end of the line fades in and out. To verify it's not my carrier, I have taken it off bluetooth and used both the handset or wired headset in the same areas multiple times and they can hear me crystal clear.

Anyone know if there is a system/firmware update for the Bluetooth? I've got the latest Nav v.10

I could be wrong, but as far as I know, there's no "update" to the Bluetooth system. If you want a newer, updated system, I believe you have to purchase a newer car. In my 2011 SE, the person on the other end can usually hear me just fine, unless the climate control is on high, then it becomes difficult to decipher what's being said.

There is a TSB with instructions on how to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone. I think this helps most with this issue. I'm not sure how cooperative the dealers are with this.

^I have heard of this solution before. From what I've been told, it helps somewhat but it's still not quite up to par with the newer systems. But who knows? It may be enough to suit your needs, OP.

I'm torn as to whether or not the volume sensitivity could be the root problem as the actual bluetooth connections seems to be weaker at times than others. I'll keep digging and see if I can find anything else.

There's a tsb for replacement of the head unit. Had it done on my 2010 and it solved my issue.
