Gen5 5.5 Gen Parking front side lights

both my parking front side marker lights have blown. not sure if a fuse or just the bulbs both blew out at the same time. anyway, dealer says they have to remove the entire headlight assembly to replace these bulbs, because the battery is in the way, etc. they want to charge me 25.00 each for labor. i think there has to be an easier way to replace them. why would the autor maker create more work to replace? lol.

anyhow, i will look up here on the search to find out more.

I am trying to replace the amber marker DTRL light, i use to call that the front parking light, but today they call it DTRLs, or front side marker lights. seems hard to get to manually.

these are extremely easy to change out.... yes it is easier if the headlights are removed but ive replaced them with the headlights in and i have pretty big hands

each bulb socket has a tab thats a few inches long for easy removal

if u want a custom look throw in a different color bulb/LED..... i have purple at the moment

Definitely just change it yourself. The passenger side is literally in and out, and the driver's side is a bit of a pain because of the battery but it's not all that hard. I'd definitely change them out because it'll make your car more visible at night from the side.

Just pull the sockets out and replace the bulbs. Nothing to it. Regards
