Grease stains on the hood

I noticed what seems to be a streak of four grease stains, probably from where someone with dirty fingers touched my hood. Unfortunately because I have to park outside, I didn't notice it for a while. I've tried scrubbing it with microfiber cleaners, waxing it, buffing it, etc. But I can't seem to get it out. Does anyone know a way to get rid of these grease stains without ruining the paint?

clay bar with quick detailer spray. it's meant for contaminants like this that are stubborn.

If it's grease, a little gasoline on a rag will clean it and do nothing to the paint. If it isn't convenient, any other petroleum distillate will work. Paint thinner, etc.

+1 I recently used a clay bar on my Mustang, and you won't believe the crap that came off the paint. Stuff that had been stuck on for years. PLEASE don't mess with paint thinner on your car....it's a disaster waiting to happen.

I was gonna make a joke, but i will be nice!

I agree, just wash the whole car, and claybar then wax the whole car. Might as well do it all!

wash and clay bar,
if not your going to need a polish with a mild cut.
If you have scratchx laying around that will probably get it right out.
