2011 SE Right Rear Clunk?

I've searched around a bit, but cant seem to find anything on here except for the rear strut mount, which I hope it's not it. I have a 2011 Camry SE I4 with 5800 miles and when pulling in and out of the driveway to the right, or on rough roads while making a right turn it makes a loud pop from the right rear. Sometimes it's loud, and sometimes its faint, and it also doesn't happen every time. But it is getting more and more consistent. I haven't had the chance to get under the car to check just yet, and the dealer couldn't hear the noise when I just had it in for the 5000 mile service, so I figured I'd ask around here to get a head-start/clue before the next available appointment. I'm going to pull the wheel and have a look at the sway-bar as well as have a look at the struts in the morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jackie

Cliff-notes:
2011 SE has clunk/pop in right rear of car when pulling in/out of driveway to the right or turning to the right on rough roads.

hey sorry to hear your having these problems that the techs arent even able to resolve at such low mileage. you know what i had something similar to that problem with my 2011 SE it was a Squeaking/Popping sound everytime i would go up and down driveways or over speed bumps they determined it was my Sun roof not sitting right on the rails. SO MY QUESTION TO YOU IS ARE YOU HEARING THAT SOUND IN THE BACK RIGHT CORNER OF THE CABIN???

Yeah, it's definitely coming from the rear. I had my fiance pull in and out of the driveway while I sat in the back seat to confirm. I thought it was the sunroof at first, but it started to get louder to where it started sounding like it was coming from the back.

This could be a feature that the Camry has to test the brakes. If it occurs at 6 or 7 MPH then I wouldnt worry as every Camry has this.

Yeah, I know about thatone. I didnt even hear it before until I saw that post haha. It actually turned out to be a blown strut. But now of course That must have been masking the noise from the sunroof as I am hearing that now. Took it to my closest dealer and they couldnt replicate the problem, yet I heard it both when leaving and when returning that same day. Trying to work out a time with the other dealer(where I bought it from) and their tight appointment schedule to have it looked at without leaving it for a whole day just for them to look for the problem. I'm outside of their 10 mile courtesy shuttle and my fiance's work schedule makes it hard if not impossible to pick me up. And there's no way to get a rental from them until they send something out for warranty claim, and according to them is only if the car isnt driveable.

Thanks for your help/ideas, any insight helps out a lot.

Thats rough. It could be a bearing or the strut then. I mean with such low miles...I do not see why unless there was bad bump or something of that nature.

Just a final update. The strut was replaced per my last post. I had the car in early this week for the additional sunroof noise, and they repaired the bonding between the cross-bracing and the roof. While they were in there, they found 2 bolts from the sunroof track itself loose, which they took out and put insulation between the mounting surfaces and torqued everything back down.

Thanks for the help. I just wish I remembered to tell them about the pillar rattle from the seat-belt retractor area. Was too focused on the sunroof.
