I have a 2004 camry le 115kmi which I gave to my son, has had recurring problem. Car goes into limp mode and won't clear. has code p0121 which says tps/throttle sensor/perf. I checked gas pedal see a circuit go up b circuit go down, check +m,-m from throttle body see a -m circuit voltage go up +m voltage go down, engine revves freely but not in sycn with throttle pedal limp mode, no codes showing, changed throttle body I immediately get code p0121 which clears and comes right back, engine will only rev to 1800rpms and i do not get any voltages on +m,-m leads at ecu anybody have any help I think second throttle body worst than first

I think I have seen a post on this forum that said the ECU will correct this condition but can't remember the particulars. Perhaps another member can tell you what you need to do. Regards

You need a new gas pedal. The bad sensor is part of the pedal assy.
