i own a gen 6 camry.

i was puttting in a led bulb for the shifter light, using a screw driver with the car on because of the 100 degree weather in florida.. i touched the screw driver in the socket by accident and a spark shown. now the lights wont turn on. btw its 4:09 right now. so im going to wait till dark actually call it KIA...

The fuse is probably blown. Replace it.

Yeah just check the fuse. You can look in the owner's manual and under the cover for a diagram. Don't do it when it is on next time.

You shorted the circuit to ground and the high amp flow caused the fuse to open exactly like it was designed to do. There are several extra fuses in both the interior and engine compartment fuse blocks. Regards

is the fuse under the hood or in the interior one? If so do you know which fuse it is? I'm having trouble with the abbreviations..
