Gen5 New Owner of a 2003 Camry XLE - Key and Key FOB questions

Hi all, I'm a new owner of a 2003 Camry XLE and I'm loving it! I have one major issue though and it's the fact that I only have 1 key. The key I have is the one with the transponder chip. Toyota was nice enough to make a spare without the chip for free. The parts guy said to go online and reach out to Toyota Nation for help.

Here's what I'm after:

1. How to program 2 more keys with transponder chips
2. How to program key FOB

I've done LOTS of searching and found multiple programming codes for both but they seem to always be for 2002 Camry's. From what I've learned, and from the forum topic above, 5th Gens are 2002-2006. Does this mean the programming instructions will work for my car?

Feel free to post any tips for this newbie. Looking forward to meeting you all and learning from you all.

Thanks, Chris

For how to program the key fob, read reply #3 from this thread located in the DIY sticky. As far as programming two or more keys with a transponder chip, most likely a little more searching of this forum will turn up the info, but a quick search turned up this reply that may be relevant. Dunno if it'll help....

Thanks for the links...I'll be ordering my keys and fobs tomorrow. Will keep everyone updated with the correct way to program them both once they arrive.

'As far as programming two or more keys with a transponder chip" What is a transponder chip? On my 03 SE I have what looks to be a copy of the key that was done at a hardware store and I have no problem starting the car with it. So I am confused about a key with a transponder chip, or am I confusing it with the Key FOB?
