I4 Springs on a V6.

We all know that if we put V6 spings on a I4, it will cause the car to lift a bit and give it the 4X4 look. That's because the spring rate on the V6 is stronger to support more weight.

What if one was to install I4 springs on a V6?

Will that lower the car by a tiny bit while still maintaing the OEM ride?

If we look at some aftermarket coilovers and springs (and for other brand of cars), the spring rate is exactly the same. But the end result are fractions of an inch, lower on the V6.

The total weight difference between a V6 and I4 is about 200lbs.

Have anyone tried this? What do you think?

I bet the springs are identical for LE/XLE regardless of V6 or I4, and identical for SE regardless, and different for the Hybrids.
