suspension sounds from 05 Camry with Eibach springs
It's been about a month since i installed the Eibach springs in my 05 Camry. Lately I've been noticing a much frequent clunking sound coming from the front every time I pull out of my driveway. Is this normal with Eibach springs?
I used the same strut mounts that I had. Also had a camber kit installed. Any suggestions as to what it could be?

is everything tight? check the sway bar links (both front and rear), make sure those are tight. they are commonly a source of clunking noises.

Mounts were very loose, I can't believe they were that loose. Tighten them up and drove around the block, so far no more clunking. Hopefully that was it. Still can't believe why they got that loose.

Which part was loose? the upper nuts, the lower large nuts?
all 3 upper nuts shown in pic on both sides were very loose. I saw the the guy use an impact wrench when he installed the struts and springs a few months ago, so they must have not have had enough torque applied to them.

shops just don't take the time to properly torque anything anymore. this is why whenever i'm able to, i do the work myself.

Unfortunately the clunking sound has returned (not as much though) and I'm leaning towards the mounts being bad after all. What a bummer, i should have just done it when I did the struts a month ago. grrrrrrrr!
Any 1 know what the torque setting should be on the struts? I read 152 to 167 lbs/ft but not too sure.
