trunk lid dent

I have a dent on the trunk lid of my 08 camry that I'm trying to figure out what to do with. It is not a creased dent, but a shallow dent. It's pretty noticable and looks like a golf ball could have hit it. It can be covered with a Half Dollar coin. It's located right on the end of the top of the trunk lid, above the toyota emblem.
Do you think a OEM trunk spoiler would cover the dent? Anyone know how far the spoiler covers on the top of the trunk lid? Thanks for your help.

Sounds like a job for paintless dent repair. Just had about a hundred of those things removed. There are people who make a living fixing problems like this, and it is cheaper than any spoiler.

I've wanted to do the spoiler anyways, but I'm trying to figure out if i need to have the dent pulled first or if the spoiler will completely cover the area where the dent is.

Paintless is the way to go. Forget about the spoiler.Completely worthless on a family sedan. Regards

Call the dent doctor! have had excellent results over the years. then put on a spoiler if you want - you can't ever have too much down force

My friend actually has a pops-a-dent kit that he said we could try on it some time this week so hopefully that will take care of the dent.
