2002 camry blower motor quit working

I have a 2002 Camry, the heat / ac controlls just quit working. I have checked all of the fuses (they are ok) and check for loose connections. What would cause the entire system to loose power like this? PLEASE HELP!

sometimes the blower motor resistor blows out. it is located on the passenger side, near the center console under the dash, on the firewall, about 4 inch long, one wire on each side. may be black in color, but i cannot swear to that.. price is about $45.

usually first, you will only have high speed on the fan blower, this is an indication the resistor is bad, but yours could have just blown out entirely. part can be bought at any parts store, not just a dealer.

easy to replace.

Try putting 12 volts to the motor without going through the resistor block. I think Glenn is right. It's probably the resistor.
