Gen5 Custom Intake for 2005 Camry

Hi i have a 2005 Camry V6 3.3L. I just bought some parts from my local auto parts store and made my custom intake. I just had a question about the sensors. I was wondering what those little wires/tubes were ? And is it normal for the "check engine" "trac off" and i believe the "asc" light to stay on ?

Thank you for your help/input.

can you take pics? I am just assuming you mean the vaccuum lines? Without pics it is hard to say or help.

No those lights shouldn't be on.

Mine is custom as well and never had any CEL thrown.

There is a Vacuum Routing Diagram sticker in the engine, it shows where the vacuum hoses connect to. Make sure they are in the right places, and the traction and stability system disables whenever the CEL is on.

Ah, yeah it usually takes some time for the CEL to come on for disconnected hoses. I was thinking about getting/making an intake a couple years ago, but SRI sucks in hot air from the engine bay.

I kept the airscoop hooked up so it blows cool air from top and bottom.

Thanks for the input guys! Sorry i didnt have pictures at the moment but i do now!

I bought the sensor adapter and vacuum line adapters today. After i installed it i realized that i had two more lines that needed to be connected to the intake so i drilled two small holes and connected them. I also bought a smaller filter for my breather but the filter didnt come with a clamp (it was supposed to) so imma go to PepBoys tomorrow and exchange it. After all that, i had the check lights turned off at work. So everything is good now!

Here are some pictures i took tonight. Sorry for the bad quality/lighting.
