AUX not working and is loose

So I have been having trouble with my AUX on my radio, its been a couple of days that it hasn't been working. For some reason the jack where you plug in for the AUX seems to be loose and also when I try to change it into AUX mode it doesn't seem to be working and just stays at CD settings. How could I fix this problem or do I have to replace the whole stereo?
