Installing H/U need Antenna Adapter?!

Okay, so im deciding to buy a Kenwood KDC-x895, and i was talking to a kenwood dealer at the local sound shop. He was pretty much giving me a quote on how much everything would cost after they install it for me.

I have a 2003 Camry

He kept rambling something about how i might need an antenna adapter since i have a toyota.

Does anybody have any idea what he is referring to? Or if i even need it?

To be honest, im probably going to just buy it off crutchfield anyway so i can get a free dash kit/adapter for the headunit. I have searched everywhere but haven't found anything, which makes me believe he was just trying to sell me something that costs 50$ that i didnt need...

Let me know if anyone knows what hes talking about, id like to figure it out before i go out and spend the 240$.

the OEM antenna plugged right into my Pioneer unit in my '04 camry... you shouldn't need one, he just wants to sell you the part.

the guy is just trying to sell you something you don't need. eclipse headunit, antenna plugged right in on my 05.
