Did your tire/rim installer disable/disconnect the TPMS? Did you ask?

Are you parking close to your stock wheels at night?

Then that's what's causing it. The car still thinks your stock wheels/tires are on. Drive long enough though and I promise the light will come on at some point....only to reset each time you park in the garage.

I don't have it and I don't want it, actually the dealer told me he was sorry it was optional on my car and not installed. I was like oh what a same.

I understand if he parks close to wheels it will reset, but each time the car is restarted it should check for them no? So when not at home the light should come on? Just curious I do not know.

lol makes sense billiams very good logic. but what about the days i dont park in my garage and like 40 feet away from my stock wheels

Lol judge he's joking. i wish i really didnt have that option just one set of tpms can cost up to 400-500 bucks and then reprogramming it is more of a pain. just i dont really know why my light doesn't come on at all with this aftermarket set with no tpms in it

Not sure....it still may be close enough to read them. I know my light would reset after parking near my stock wheels and they were at least 12-15 feet away. I still say that if you drove around for an hour or so it would trigger.

BTW, prices for OEM sensors have come way down. I picked up a second set for my alloy wheels this past spring for $50 shipped. My local Tire Discounters installed them for me for about $40 and programmed them for free. I have less then $100 bucks total tied up in them.

So I have 2 sets....one for my "winter" wheels and alloys.

Your lucky. I had to open up my instrument cluster and actually desolder the tpms led.
