Intermittant Vibration
Sorry if this has been covered previously. I searched the archives and couldn't find anything that matched my issue.
Periodically, when traveling at a constant rate of speed (so far, only noticed at highway speeds) my steering wheel vibrates and the front tires feel like I'm driving over rumble strips. Like I said, this is a periodic thing. It happens when I use the cruise control AND when I don't, but only when I've been traveling for at least five miles or so. If I can grip the steering wheel long enough, the vibration will stop for a while, but almost always comes back.
I've had my tires balanced and re-checked someplace else. No change.
I have an '07 Camry XLE with 94,000 miles. Current tires have approximately 15,000 miles of wear, but this issue only came about within the previous 8,000 or so.
I've thought about bad balancing, bad tires, struts, etc. However, the problem is not constant. It comes and goes.
Thanks in advance.
