Angry 2011 New camry. got white spots on the car (LOST PAINT)

Hi friends,
I got new camry two months ago . I lost paint(got white spots) on the car with in 40 days. I refer other people not to buy toyota as they were not maintaining the quality.

and the dealer said it just bcoz of some chemical was mixed with paint while painting the car.

When i took my car to the dealer he promised me that he will get a new brand paint. He painted my car two times and i am not satisfied with their work as they spoiled my car. got up and downs on the paint.
I am very much worried abt my new car.
Is there any way to return my car.

I already applied for arbitration waiting for their call.

Can you please tell me what should i do now?

Please keep us informed. If you have good outcomes I would be interested in talking to or showing the mediator or Toyota rep my paint.

I used to have a 2011 LE in Barcelona Red, but there were tiny white flakes in the paint that seemed to be cracks in the paint. I brought it back the day after I first brought it home, and they swapped the car out for me because I only had about 60 miles on it. Now my Super White LE had the clear coat fall off the front bumper in large pieces, so I took it in for warranty. They had it repainted and did a horrid job, leaving bubbles in the paint, overspray, even leaving marks where the masking tape was applied. Didn't even take off the bumper! The dealership is waiting on my word on when I can take my car to their actual body shop to have it painted properly.

Unfortunately all you can do is let them repaint your car and fix the problems. If they do an unsatisfactory job, then I'm not sure how far complaining will go unless you get a lawyer involved. You can also try contacting Toyota and notify them of the situation. Sorry to hear that and keep us updated.

Like exclusive said, all you can do is have them repaint the car. Toyota's paint quality has been piss poor. Maybe its the eco friend method? I've had paint chips on my hood from rocks on roads kicking up within the first week of owning my car. I had a 1995 Ford Taurus and never did it have any paint chips. Same with my 2003 Honda Odyssey.

Unfortunately it's not just Toyota with crappy paint. In the US, Federal regulations have taken out a lot of the "good stuff" in paint over the last 10 years in the interest of being environmentally friendly.

It sucks, but what has the government ever done that didn't screw us?

Paint nowadays is water based now, which means it doesn't hold up for crap and chips/scratches really easily. The day I left the dealership in my 2011 Camry I got a rock chip. 35 miles on the odometer. Now, with 6200 miles (and my car is garaged, rarely driven) in 13 months, I have easily a dozen rock chips in completely random places and tiny clear coat scratches EVERYWHERE. It's a nightmare. You learn to deal with it....at least you got repaints. Most of us aren't even close to being that lucky.

Good luck.

If it is just bcoz of my mistake we wont ask toyota. I did nothing how can I accept the result. I like my car very much it doesnt mean it should not have any scratches. I am worried abt my paint.

The paint quality issue does indeed suck.
