2011 Toyota camry OEM Navigation Install

I have a 2011 Toyota camry SE that has blu-tooth and audio controls. I bought the OEM unit on Ebay that supposed to fit the car exactly and actually an option on 2011 Camry SE. My problem is when I try to install the unit, the wire harness does not match the cars existing unit. where I can buy the harness that can convert the existing one to match OEM GPS unit. Please help!

Do you have the JBL system? Post a link to the ebay page so we can see which unit you have.

The unit you bought has JBL, its on the bottom left hand corner. I'm not sure if its compatible with a non-JBL set up. Your stock radio would say JBL and there'd be an amp under the passenger seat.

I don't know. Someone should chime in. I went through the opposite. I bought an Eonon Nav from a member here and I had to get the PAC harness because I have the JBL.

I have done this exact install and I can tell you, you are in for a headache my friend. I swapped out my 2007 Camry SE non JBL radio for a 2007 Camry SE OEM NAV with JBL and I had to purchase a mic, the steering wheel controls, the amp, and the wiring harness adapters. Once you have pieced everything together the trick will be getting behind your stereo and figuring out every wire, cutting them and placing them in the proper slots on your new connectors. Then running those to the amp and depending on whether or not you have an aftermarket system, to the speakers. It is a major headache unless you know what you are doing. I can see why Toyota charges so much for the install of these things now.

Good luck and I hope your install goes a little smoother for you.

To help out, check out OEMVALUE.COM and you will see wiring diagrams for the radio to nav mod. I went off those and the ones from Toyota.

So if he had a JBL system this unit would be plug and play? No additional Harness needed? Just the GPS antenna?

No because the connectors on the back of the NAV unit are different from those on the radio. He would still need to buy the adapter harness cable, JBL amp, the microphone, bluetooth steering controls, and antennae. The adapter cable would run from the amp to the back of the unit. Trust me on this, this install is a major undertaking. Good luck with it, but I highly recommend you use the money for buying an aftermarket NAV that looks stock. The after market has better functionality then the old OEM Toyota NAV and costs less than half the price. It is 10x easier to install as well. IMO. This is coming from a guy who spent months piecing everything together and spending a ton of cash trying to get a factory NAV install going in my ride. 3 months into actually installing this thing and I still can't figure out why the mic won't work, and neither can the 6 different auto mechanics/electricians I have taken it to. Headache.
