Hi Gang, I am wondering if anyone has a STRUT bar (not sway bar) installed in their Camry already? If so, do you notice any difference? I am considering adding one to my 2011 for long-term structural longevity and to prevent dash squeaks/rattles in the future due to chassis fatigue. I am thinking that you should feel very little difference once one is installed. Maybe a little sharper steering on quick inputs? Do you feel any additional harshness? Many thanks in advance! God Bless, Marc
I have been looking for a strut tower brace for my 2011 Camry for quite some time, but I have yet to find a company that makes one. I know there are some out there for Gen 5 Camrys, but I honestly don't think there are any for the Gen 6 (anyone who knows differently please chime in and correct me!).
It will make some difference rigidity-wise but you shouldn't feel any additional harshness whatsoever.

Ultra Racing makes a strut tower brace and a lower brace. There are a couple of vendors, once you search for Ultra Racing. The link to the one above just happens to be one I had saved. I don't own one yet, but it looks really easy to install (4 nuts). I hope this helps. God Bless, Marc

Really members have them on Gen6 since years. Look for UR or on e-bay.
I just installed an Ultra Racing strut bar last weekend, and I don't regret my purchase. Road holding has improved, but I'm using it with a 19mm Ultra Racing rear sway bar as well, so it's hard to say which part is doing the most work.

rear sway bar usually results in the largest improvement on handling, strut bar only a little.

There are some folks here who are confusing strut bar (structurally reinforces the tops of the strut towers), with SWAY bars (which add spring rate in corners or differential movement of opposing suspension members). There is no TRD Gen6 strut brace to my knowledge. I am asking about folks with a strut tower brace in place. Best wishes, Marc
