Satin black wheels on a black 6th?

Hey all from a noob, I've been searching but can't find a pic, I'd love to do a simple satin black 18 or 19 inch rim on my 6th, and maybe a ~1" drop front/rear. Anyone got a pic?

Thanks!!!

Black on black isn't the best choice. It will make your car look like it is rolling on steel rims.

If you want a moderate drop, get H&R springs. 1.4" all around.

+1+1+1 on what Punks said. I would think about removing all badges on a black car, but not black rims on it. I run black rims for winter on mine and it does not look that good. An no photo sorry. They are only steel winter rims but still does not work.

This is my '11 LE with 16" stock rims painted black. I like it, but apparently others don't.

I like it! What did you use to black out the window chrome, vinyl?

Also it's dying for some tint on the tails

VHT Nite Shade for the tails (search for my DIY)

IF you get black rims, look for some with a chrome lip... it will atleast seperate the black some and not make them blend in and look like steel rims.

^ some like it that way.

I've seen a Camry all blacked (no gloss), headlight and everything was blacked out.. it's like a block of black charcoal in the shape of a car doing 60mph.

I like the wheels all black, but if they aren't big enough they definitely do look kinda like steelies.

I'm thinking something along these lines:

(minus the yellow of course)

Or in this sexy grey color:

I'm thinking 19" x 8.5 all around, with a 35 or 45 offset and wearing 235/35/19 Falken 452's with a ~1.4" drop all around from H&R's.

I have 19x8's 48 offset and same tire size. With the with the 35 offset you MIGHT rub, even with the mild drop. So keep that in mind. I know our cars are different generations, but i am close to rubbing with 48 offset and 2" drop.

I bumped/updated the DIY tail light tint thread.
