Help with traction control 2009 camry xle

Hi all. I just recently purchased a 2009 camry xle 6cyl. Just wondering if this car comes with traction control? If so is there a switch or something somewhere to turn it off? Jus wondering with the winter approaching. My old camry had a switch on the bottom dash, that's why I ask. Thanks

If it does there will be a button on the lower dash under your mirror controls. You can press it when you first start your car and hold it in until it deactivates, it will show up in your instrument cluster once its off. You will have to do this each time after you put in park as it automatically resets.

Ok. I see where the cutout would be if there was a switch. My 2005 XLE had it, this one doesnt. Do you know if it was an option at the time?

^i believe its been an option on all xle v6 models, gen 6 included. but kycamrymaker would be the man to answer for sure .

I'd rather not have it anyway. Chicago winters can be a bitch. :-)

Yeah, it was an option up to the 2010MY in which it became standard.
