I have a 2009 camry xle with navigation. Anyone have any ideas how easy it is to install a factory Toyota xm kit? If so do you know what I need and where? Thank you

Word of caution. The 07-09 Camry XM fit kit has been discontinued for well over a year now. It is not the same as the 10-11 kit, they have the standard external antenna on the roof. The kit you need is a PT546-33070 and the receiver is 86180-0W032. I was lucky enough to find one online last year but they are really scarce now. Good luck!

Thanks a lot

Thanks for that. Any idea on why it was discontinued? I have navigation also, so im a little concerned about installing it myself. Wonder if I should look for an aftermarket kit.

I have no idea why. Seems pretty stupid to me and I'm a Toyota parts manager. Toyota may have contracted a certain number through the manufacturer and after they were gone they saw no reason to renew the contract. Thats my best guess. Take it for what its worth. Doesn't help you out much. I would get a portable unit and install it in the bottom lidded dash compartment. That was my second choice.
