heater core

the core on my 07 is shot and im trying to find a ''how to'' write up on it with no luck.. just wondering if anyone has done a change on a core and can give me a heads up on what ill need.. or know if theres a step by step thread anywhere

OMG...well, i'd like to "guess" at what you will have to go thru on this repair.......

suffice it to say, i'm "guessing" you will need a LONG WEEKEND....

I have no idea about the Camry, but I can tell you that the heater core went south on both my '99 Sable and my '99 F-150. In both cases the entire dash had to be removed to replace the core. Both were in the $600-$700 range.

It's a big job for sure, 6hours plus.. If you go by the book lol I have 2 07 camrys and have done ALL the work on them with both having 450k km on both.. Good cars, not many 4bangers will last 500k..
Anything you can think of I've fixed on those cars lol I'm not looking forward to losing a weekend but if it saves 800$ then its extra money in my pocket
