Problem with local dealer, seaking advice!

Hey guys,

I have taken my 2009 Camry SE into a local dealer 3 times. I have had multiple problems with the car and they have only fixed one despite the fact they have had it 3 times for multiple days each visit.

My biggest issue is last time I went to pick my car up they messed up my passenger seat and rear seat, I confronted them and they said they would have their used car manager look at fixing it...

But h ow can you fix torn threads? wont this create a week spot if they just cut them? Sorry for the crappy pictures. There are threads hanging out all over the seat some are over and inch long!

Do you guys think if they try to cut the threads and make it look better it will compromise the strength of the material? I don't see how you can remove thread and not make it susceptible to tearing later on.

No you should be fine, just cut them and smooth it out, it's not gonna make your seats fall apart. If it's the stitches that's failing then you have a problem.

It is the stitching on the part where your back hits. the bottom piece where its darker I am not worried about its like a mesh type material. But you can see the stiching that goes from one side of another. And if I push in there the threads are torn it looks like a 1/4 inch hole. If I push in an area where the threads are not torn I do not see a hole like that.

I would say let them try and repair it in the direction they want to. If it is not to your liking afterwards tell them to try again/replace it.
