What if any is/are the differences in the shocks/suspensions on a 2010 SE vs LE? My SE seems "rough" for lack of a better word. Like you can feel every pebble on the road; its got 52Kmi. and my B-I-L's LE has 20K and seems relly smooth. Would the mileage cause that? Or is it a SE/LE thing? Thanks...
The SE has stiffer springs and struts, i believe it is almost maybe an inch lower than LE and XLE models.
Mileage has nothing to do with the ride, both cars aren't even broken in yet.
Tires on your SE are lower profile(less rubber) the LE has more rubber and probably 16" rims vs 17's on your SE. So that will contribute to your rough ride.
You could get a meatier tire to help that.
If you replace your struts and springs, ask for the LE or XLE suspension.
My struts where worn and when I read and heard that some SE owners would switch to the LE struts I decided to just stick with the OEM LE rather than get KYB SE struts. I wanted a "smoother" ride so just stuck with LE struts.
^ more like feel how horrible the road is with pot holes and bumps.
Nah, I don't think it's that bad at all. My mom used to have a Cadillac Eldorado (97) and my SE rides and handles just as nice as that car did....and it is 100x smoother than both the Max and Mustang (granted, the Mustang has generous amounts of bump steer ).

The damper is what the spring wraps around, and two of them are located behind the back seat since there's one set for each wheel. Why would my CE not have it?
Isn't there something behind the back seat too? I noticed it doesn't have fold down seats like my CE.
Yes...the SE has an "X" brace behind the rear seat to help stiffen the body. The SE also has additional bracing tying the rear suspension mounts to the side rails.
