I was able to install an Eonon with the Pac Tato but it wasn't a very good one. I didn't have it grounded properly and now that I have the Erisin, I want to do it right.
So I have the Pac Tato:
I get the concept of the 4 loose wires into the radio's harness. Where do I plug the red and black with the plug things?
Here is the Erisin harness:
I also need to know how to tap the power for the antenna since I can't use both factory plugs. Is the dark blue wire on the radio harness what I'd tap into for an amp remote turn on?

Look at my picture you need to cut the red yellow and black wire and connect them to the pac tato harness. BTW Ground is the black one

Ok, I got that part down, now I'm working on figuring out which orange wire I tap into for the antenna amp. I also need to figure out how to stuff all this stuff in and keep the door functioning to the lower glove box.
It appears I have successfully installed the Erisin. It took me awhile to get it just right. It was never a question of getting it to function, it was more of getting the Pac Tato and all the connections stuffed in the right spot. There isn't a whole lot of room to maneuver back there.
I ended up tapping this orange wire for the antenna amp. So far so good. I do see an improvement in reception, probaby 60% better. Not perfect but acceptable.
I removed the Aux plug from the bottom glove box and put the Ipod cable through the open space. I'm having a Basslink II installed tomorrow and I put the controller in that glovebox mounted on the right side. I like the stealth look! I gotta say that the bluetooth audio sounds damn good. Better than the Ipod. I've been doing quite a bit of mods in the past few weeks, they should all be done by week's end. I'll post a thread when everything is done.
I just got a PAC TATO today, and I plan on setting it up with a Erisin E856C. I have two issues that I'm not sure on.
First, the orange wire you guys are talking about I assume is between the antenna amp & head unit and not related to the TATO? I haven't looked behind my HU yet (I'd like to get all the harnesses wired up first before dissembling anything), but it looks like the orange wire is ran with the two antenna wires and I'm not exactly sure where you have it connecting to. A post I saw in the big aftermarket GPS thread said that the orange antenna amp wire should connect to a blue wire on the Erisin harness, which is a switch for the power antenna? I'm assuming this orange wire just needs 12V to run the amp when the HU is turned on. I think it'd help if there was a pinout available for the Erisin unit. I'd also like to use this wire as a remote turn on for a Basslink II I'd like to install as well.
Second issue is the orange/white wire coming from the TATO unit. The manual says "Connect to Dimmer on aftermarket radio" I'm really curious as to why an amp needs a dimmer control. Is this necessary to connect and if so, what wire should this connect to on the Erisin unit?
I'm really looking forward to getting this setup, and I think after I figure these few things out, I should be good to go
I received by Erisin 856C and the PAC TATO harness, but need help. I looked at Pilot's thread, but his Erisin harness is different from mine, and so is murph's. My Erisin harness has a black connector instead of white, and has four loose wires: pink for "brake-in," orange for "illumi" (illuminate), orange/black for "reverse in," and brown for "IR."
What I have done so far is connect the red, black and yellow wire from the Erisin harness to the TATO. What I don't understand is Murph's unanswered question in the first post, where do you put the red and black wires with the plugs on the end?
Second, Matt mentioned the orange/white loose wire for "dimmer," where does that go?
Third, there's a blue wire for "radio antenna connector," what do I do with this?
Fourth, there seems to be two connectors from the Camry that were on the OEM radio, but will not be in use on the Erisin?
Last, as mention above, what do I do with the 4 loose wires that are from the Erisin's harness?
Also my PAC TATO came with an additional 11pin harness, what is this for?
It's to easily connect to other PAC's accessories, such as their steering wheel control module. It's not needed for the TATO to function.
From the manual " Connect to PAC’s SWI-X, SWI-JACK, SWI-PS or SWI-ECL2 (Sold Separately)"
four loose wires: pink for "brake-in," orange for "illumi" (illuminate), orange/black for "reverse in," and brown for "IR."
pink-not used/not required, unless you want to add some safety control for the DVD (will not play unless parking brake in engaged)
orange-goes the the orange on the TATO for dimmer control
orange/black-not used, unless you plan on installing a reverse camera
brown-not used (there's no info on this, but I assume you can connect an external IR receiver somehow)

That 11-pin harness isn't used for the Erisin, since you don't need any other PAC accessories, so that doesn't need to be connected at all.

I found out that the orange coming from the TATO goes to the illumi control on the Erisin, and the other orange for the antenna amp already is connected up.

As far as I know, this doesn't need to be used. The orange wire ran with the two antenna plugs still has the necessary 12V for the antenna amp, again.. as far as I know. I did not verify this when installing.

I'm pretty sure I was left with only one, which I believe was for the bluetooth system.

Only the orange illumi control is used. The rest you can terminate and tape up (unless you're installing a reverse camera [orange/black]).
I figured the dimmer went with the illumi but had to make sure.
I was left with the smaller blue radio plug and one harness and would make sense for it to be bluetooth. My radio reception is bad, how did yours turn out? I believe Murph tapped the blue wire from the Erisin harness into the orange wire for the radio. It wasn't really specific in the above post as to what he did to get 60% better reception.
