Something broken on body

Greetings - I have a 2007 Camry. I noticed something that appears to be broken on the body the other day. It's basically on the right rear side, in front of the rear tire (on the other side of what would be the mud guard). Any ideas on what this is? Would fixing this mean taking off a whole panel, or is this a small piece of the car that is easily swapped out? Any ideas on how much, and if its worth it to do it? Thanks in advance.

that is a "rocker panel"..it goes from the rear up to the front....

you can fix it, by gluing it, but it may not look good after. you can go to a junk yard and if lucky, get the same color as what you have now. so try that, go to a junk yard.

i do not know the price either from a junk yard or the dealer. you would have to crawl under there and locate mounting screws. there may be mounting screws INSIDE the rocker panel at the door sills as well.

You can get one from a junkyard for fairly cheap, but it's not easy to find 6th gen Camrys in a junkyard.
