Fender repair suggestion

I just was rear-ended by a lady into my front driver fender of my '09 LE, see picture. Got a quote from allstate's affiliated bodyshop and they want to repair driver door in addition to fender, but another bodyshop where I did my repair of front bumper via Toyota dealership, just want to blend driver's door. Do you think guys I can get away without repainting the door and preserving original paint?

if the door is not damaged, just don't do it..

but for the sake of blending and making the car not look like it was never hit, sometimes going onto another body panel may have to be done...but they should not have to go too far on the door.

a good dent guy might be able to pop/pull it out and then just polish it the best you can.

Talked to bodyshop again, they going to blend it half, seems the way to go! Although, seems breaks are whisling on the left despite just minor touch, may need to do wheel alignment in addition. Bad luck ;-(

That wheel rim appears to be damaged. Did they check the wheel, brake components and steering components for hidden damage?

Just curious, how does one get 'rear-ended' in a front fender?
