Wiring map lights to dome lights

When I unlock my car or have doors open I want both to come on. Anyone have a tutorial?

Should really state which car you drive ... some cars have independent switches for their map lights.

im guessing that you have map lights on the sides of the dome lights. all you really would have to do is just basically open up the light panel and just add some wires from the dome to map and dont forget youll need to add some diodes that way when you put the map on the domes wont go on
