hello i just need to know what direction does the grill insert go back on? i know i have to take off the bumper, but does the bow (both ends of the grill point towards the car) of the lower grill go towards car? and does the side with the three clips go on top? i painted it and am wondering if i painted the right side?? (small animal i hit, popped it out) 2007 ce camry!
plus my liner underneath the car came loose and is dragging, is it easy to repair?
Liner should be easy to repair. Make sure that all the screws are in. If they are torn off, you can make some holes in them and zip tie them to other parts or buy a new one (no point as no one checks under anyways)

Liner underneath is a couple of cheap push center clips. You can pick up a generic at any auto parts store, or OEM from the dealership for around 1.50 a piece. If you go to the dealership ask for the plastic clip that holds the lower engine/radiator splash shield in place. They will know what you are looking for.
My wife's car is an SE, So I am not sure that they are the same, but I just popped her lower grill in and fixed her engine/radiator splash shield yesterday, (hit a tire tread on the freeway) and the grill only fit one way.
You don't have to take off the bumper! As I remember you just angle it through the area it goes as if you are putting it back where it was sitting inside and then pull it towards you and thats how it goes in. I think. I can take mine out again after I get off work today and tell you for sure. And I think the three clips are on top. But just try to look inside that area or just feel around for them. It took me a bit of flipping it around and stuff to figure out how to get it back on. Let me know if you get it back on. I hope this post made some sense.

That is how I got my wife's back in. Just slowly slide it back through the hole it fits in and then sit it upright and it just snaps in place. You may have to support the bumper a bit by pushing back against it to get enough force on it to get the clips to grab again. Work your way around the outside of the grill to make sure each clip/snap has seated properly.
