Question '07 camry flasher relay installation help please?

Hi all:

I need to install flasher relay. Can't seem to get info yet on where it is and how to replace. I'm 21/2 hours away from dealer, and not able to drive car with no signal lights. I think it's under dash?...can't even get my big head in there.

Would be grateful for any advice offered...thank you!

You will have to remove the instrument cluster to get to it. It is between there and the clock, closer to the cluster.

First, do the 4 ways still work?
Second, is it flashing too fast or not at all?
Third, Hyper-flash is a bulb burned out (fast flash).
Fourth, if dead, have you checked your fuse?
Last of all, this is a special solid state flasher and to keep all of the original functions, you need a Toyota flasher. [door lock/unlock confirm, 4 ways with the ignition switch off]
[No way all four bulbs are burned out?]

Good luck..

Be SAFE.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal...
Then you have the relearning process for the idle to go through when done.

Canada Woohoo!

Thanks to Luna 2 and Bandit (used his excellent DIY tut on electronic led flasher). I did change my 2007 Camry denso flasher, and signals and hazard lights now work fine. I did manage to break one retainer clip and screw on top of instrument cluster. That one just wouldn't come out! It was quite a job for this nervous old ludite, and would not have been able to do it without your help!

Thanks again!

Did you have to do a idle relearn or did everything just work once you replaced the relay?
