I want to change out all of the audio equipment in my 2011 Camry LE w/o JBL. I was thinking about the items below, but I do not know if they will fit as I cannot find much information on speaker sizes anywhere. I mainly listen to Rock, Classical, World, DubStep. I want a full sound stage especially for the classical. If you remember the commercial for the luxury car where the guy is in the car listening to classical and he thinks he is conducting the symphony, that is what I want. I understand that this belongs in the Audio section of the forum, but I put it here b/c I mainly want to know if options like the ones below will fit in a 2011 Camry LE. Although if anyone has opinions on my selections feel free to speak them as any information is good information. I have not purchased car audio equipment in a long time, so I may be way out of touch with my selections. Thank You in advance for any opinions or input!
Rear Shelf: Infinity Kappa 693.9i http://www.crutchfield.com/s_1086939...and%7CInfinity
Unsure about fitment under the Rear Shelf. I have read something about clearance issues with the trunk riser bar and back glass, but I have not found any information as to why. If a 6x9 fits now even in a plastic frame why would a new drop in effect the back glass?
Im in the market for some speakers too......My factory rear factory speakers are shit and make rattling noises and I dont feel like going to the dealer again. I'm probably only going to replace the rear 2 speakers........either pioneer or infinity
The rear deck are 6x9's same with the front doors. Dash is like 3.5in or something like that if i remember correctly, someone correct me if im wrong.
My suggestion would be get some nice 6.5in components and either mount the tweeter where the dash speakers are or next to the 6.5in mid driver in the door depending on your preference on where you want them but sticking the tweeters next to the 6.5in mid will give you the best imaging.
As for the rears look for a good pair of 6x9 and you should be set.
Also looking at your speaker selection, your going to need an amp to power them or else they will sound horrible and you wont get the most out of your speakers especially for how much your spending.

Crutchfield has can tell you what fits your car. They are conservative though. I bought some that they said wouldn't fit, and they did -- if you didn't mind a little rubbing on the grill.
I am planning on getting a 4 channel amp probably JL or Alpine not yet decided. Would that work to power a front door component set and the two rear 6x9's or would a 4 channel only cover the front door components?
I looked at crutchfield and all they recommended was front door speakers and nothing else. That is why I was conserned about the other speaker sizes and fitting issues.
Alpine PDX5 great amp at a great price. I bought most of my system from them almost always the cheapest on the net.
That amp is a digital amp much much more efficient. Less heat, smaller wire, lest strain on you electrical system, great sound. As you can tell I am very happy with mine.
I found that crutchfield is a little over priced. check out sonicelectronix.com . I've ordered a ton of things from them and never had a problem. Alpine pdx digital amps are great also, JL Audio is good equipment but overpriced. It would help a lot if we know what your budget is so we can recommend the right stuff in the range your willing to spend.

6x9 all around. but you'll need adapters. I got them from ebay.
after I installed 4-ways pioneers in doors and rear deck + B-quiet doors, firewall and floor even stock HU sounds like something good and I'm not planning to switch HU anymore.
sound deadened will change sound and ride quality alot. spend extra $ on it you wont regret.

To be honest, stay away from all the Infinity and Alpine speakers. You will also need an amp. I am very much into classical music and have done my whole car over from top to bottom. I installed Rainbow Germaniums 6 ½ mids in the doors and the matching tweeters up top in the dash. They are powered by a Rainbow iPaul active set-up. 6x9 Rainbow two way in the rear deck being powered by the Head Unit Alpine w505. Two Rainbow Vanadium 10 inch subs powered by a Rainbow iPaul mono block. Good lord it sounds fantastic. And yes to really make your gear shine you need to sound deaden the doors, trunk, and roof. The install is 80% of a good sound quality system Look into other brands like Zapco, Rainbow, Image Dynamics, Crescendo, and Focal. Think long term before you buy. And I can assure you those Infinity 3 inchers in the stock locations firing at the dash will make your ears bleed and cause permanent damage to you at high volumes.
Just saying......
Nothing wrong with Alpines. Im running the Alpine Type S 6.5 Coaxials along with my German MB Quart 6X9s in the rear. Im using a PG Ti500 to power everything including a 10" Kicker out back.
Of course I ran an adapter up front and fits with no issues.

I had the Type S 6x9 in my car as well. I am happy they are gone........
And it very likely that your MB Quarts aren’t German made as Maxxsonnics has most of that gear being made in China I believe. Still, different folks different strokes J

You're right that Maxxonics took over MB now. But I have the older versions. They are red in color if you know. I forgot to take pics of the 6X9s. My Alpines sound good and I can stage the tweeters to my liking. All the brands you mentioned are good as I have Focals in my Supra.
Here are my doors
Here is my PG amp mounted behind my box
Box sits flush in the cubby hole since I wanted trunk space and still access the spare tire.

Anyone know what size speakers will fit in dash and under rear shelf?
As has been mentioned, both the front and the rears are 6x9", but you'll need adapters. For some reason, Crutchfield only carries them for the front (I've read it's more a depth issue than anything else).
I bought mine from him, and will be installing them in 2 weeks when my MTX 6.5" components come in (I have additional 6x9 to 6.5" adapters, like shown in the picture above).
