Does anyone knowof a turbo or supercharger unit out there yet??
Will a flowmaster quiet series 50 muffler add any performance or just noise
already did the drop in Kand N filter since the air inductions for the 4 bangers do not seem available only for the six cly's
any turbos for our cars would have to be custom, modified scion tc turbos.
It will be expensive.
There's a thread dedicated to this subject, I suggest searching first, then stretching more, then mauve ask.
Gains from a muffler, nope!
Get a full exhaust, delete cats/resonators, cold air intake.
Maybe 3+ hp.
FYI, our i4 2010-2011's are just as fast as a stock IS250 in a straight line. I was at The Pursuit III in Irwindale on Sunday and proved that to everyone. We are also on par with 1GS, 1IS, and the 1Tundra as well, or at least up to 1/8th mile since that was the length of the track

My bro has a is250 i drive it all the time. It's a 2.5l as well but in v6.. So yes we can hold up with them in 1/8th but highway... Is250 moves.. My wife was able to stay by my side when I was on my r6 and she was in the is250. Wasn't till 135 that I started pulling away..
If anyone at all ever develops a turbo for the Camry...it will be awhile. But I doubt it, as the Camry is a "boring family sedan", so you'd most likely have to purchase a tC turbo and modify it. There are kits out there already for the tC.

I agree 100%......Compared to my other rides like G25(v6), and e90 325xi(I6), my cam is quicker and more enjoyble....as for the exhuast the G25 wins, I'm trying to look for sum decent mufflers or exhuast for the cam but all of them sound "fartyish".....
^I have a crappy video on you tube, lol. Always meant to get around to making a new one but haven't yet. Just you tube it, there's loads of videos of Camrys with borla mufflers.

Anyone got a good video of the borlas??
I ordered the borla axle back and should have it next week. I plan on getting as many videos as I can up.

Yea that was the first video and I think your the only person with a GEN 6.5 2.5L se with an exhuast/mufflers........
I've been looking at the Vibrant but I see its only one not dual like mine. You guys think I could put two and it wont be abnoxiously loud??
Cant wait!!! Jus curious do you have the 2011 2.5L se??
srry for the double post...
Yup sure do. I'm thinking its gonna be too quiet but we'll see. If it is I might remove the resonator or just sell them and get some magnaflows. The price on the borlas was too good to pass up tho, I just wish they had bigger tips. And the dual vibrants would probably be slightly quieter than the single but with the same tone.

It's not as quiet as you think. At an idle it sounds almost muscular, then at slower driving speeds it gets quieter, but watch the rpms climb and listen to her just SCREAM!
I've heard people remove the resonator on the 2.5 and IMO, it sounds VERY rice. Not a good sound unless you're a Civic.

^^100% agreeing with you..... I haven't yet seen a camry without resonator in live action but judging by the videos they sound too loud..... I want it sound nice at idle and when pushed hard.
