Hey guys,

I was at my local toyota dealership yesterday and checked out the new 2012 Camry SE. Surprisingly, the american made ones have only 10% Japanese part and it was the transmission.

I bought my 2010 as a CPO vehicle. I was wondering for those who bought a new 2010, can you post your window sticker or tell me what the percentage of Japanese parts are in our 2010 SE 4 cylinder camrys? Thanks. (btw, if you post, feel free to hide the VIN #)

I think it's very similar. My Camry is at home so I can't post the window sticker right now....

Although the Camry is assembled in Kentucky or Indiana, the transmissions are still built in Japan, as well as a few other parts.

Huh.....I took my grandparents to look at a 2012 XLE......sunroof, leather, navi, V6, and it was 100% US built. As for the 2010, I think it is similar as well, maybe 90% US and 10% JP.
I think when mine was built though (gen 5), they were 80% US and 20% JP. Can't find my window sticker

that I've been looking for forever now to double check that but oh well, you asked about gen 6.

i never got my window sticker. so i cannot help you. the gal had it in her hand, as she was showing me the car and it's functions, but she never did put it into my dealer pocket folder for my glove box.
