I lifted the trunk lining but could not find any bolts except for the jacks storage area. The total system is about 1200 watts RMS.
A little more info:
I replaced my old OEM battery w/ an Exide AGM battery and hooked it up to the alternator w/ a 0/2 gauge cable. I ran out of cables to do the other two parts of my "big three": chassis to engine block and battery neg to chassis. They will go in the car soon.
Thanks for your input.

You could try a "mute" plug (RCA jack with the tip connected directly to the shield) to isolate if the noise is actually being induced in the amp or in the RCA/head unit, unplugging the cables may also work, but it's not always as definitive. In my experience most noise gets introduced in the RCA wiring or just as a function of the differential in the ground from the amps to the front of the car. Doing the negative terminal to chassis portion of the big 3 would be more likely to fix this than changing your trunk ground I suspect, seat bolts are usually a pretty solid grounding point.
