comfortred touring tires

There is a 160 dollar rebate on the Goodyear Assurance Comfortred Touring tires. V rated, #1 on Tire Rack has anyone tried them and how where/are they? It is a newer tire improved from the Assurance Comfortred.

Thanks Warm

sorry to say, i haven't had Good Year tires for a few years. i like them, but i usually end up with Firestone. my current car (2010) has Michelin, which i like, and i may buy them again. whatever tire you do choose, make sure though, that they are good for all seasons, have a long mileage warranty, and if possible a road hazard warranty for that occasional flat tire repair.

I have the comfortred touring on my LS430. It gave the car a whole new character with tighter precise steering, less body lean, absorbed bumps great and it is church quiet. It has great tread, rated for 70k warrantee for a V rated tire which is tops in the industry and cripes came down to 100 bucks a tire with a Sears sale 225/55/17 and 160 dollar rebate. I haven't noticed any mileage penalty and it is heads and tails a better tire than my Primacies the H rated tire. It is great on my LS just wondering on the Hybrid I have a 215/65/16 tire.

Nov 2 is family sale at sears and it comes down to 75 bucks a tire with rebates and such. I will probably get this tire as it is so good on my usual sloppy heavy LS430. Don't get me wrong I love my LS 150 k miles tires brakes thats it.

I was wondering about this myself. I am debating the Michelin Primacy MXV4 (H Rated) versus the
Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring (V Rated) Oddly, in the 215/60/16 size for my '05 XLE V6, the michelins come with 9/32 of tread new versus 12/32 new on the Goodyears. I was really hesistant to put the V rated tires on versus the H rated. Any thoughts out there from anyone who has either of these?

Thanks
