2011 Toyota camry OEM Navigation

I just installed a Toyota OEM navigation unit E7024 in my 2011 toyota camry SE. My problem is I would like to install back up camera to the unit. I tried everything but its not working for me. One thing is that my reverse camera wire is not connected to anything. Can someone tell me where that wire connects to. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

You need to wire that reverse wire to your reverse gear. One ghetto way of doing it is to run that reverse wire to the positive wire on one of your reverse bulbs in the trunk. So when you shift it into R and the light kicks on that positive signal should kick on the reverse function of the headunit. Ghetto but works.

I will post some pics once I finish the back up camera. I bought it on ebay brand new unit for $980 and bought the amp and wiring harness that converted my existing connections to Nav unit for $450. Everything is working except back up camera

I connect the reverse wire to the back reverse light and it recognize it in daignostic menu. I still do see any picture. Does any one knows where to connect the video input wires. I am stuck at this point and tried everything.

i managed to do the same.. i have factory navigation but no back up camera.. it took me almost a month but i managed to find a new in box Eclipse back up camera ( BEC105/106/107/108) which are the ones that come standard from the factory for the cars with equipped options. they have been discontinued since last year. its basically a straight cable that goes from the back of the car to the back of the navigation.. clicks into one of the ports in the back. make sure you install it with the battery disconnected so when u attach it and turn on the car.. the system will look for all available options and it will properly install the camera to the system. the single wire makes for clean install.. once its attached to the navi.. the car knows when ur in reverse so there is no need for touching the reverse lights. and the best part is that the camera is fully adjustable from the outside. so u can always change position whenever needed. best investment on the car so far

More than a month later and I can't find anyone in the tri-state area to install this camera for me. I have all the instructions and tools needed for the install. Anybody know anyone in the tri-state that would attempt this job? Pretty soon I'm gonna attempt to do it myself. Probably wount be a good idea but have no options.

Thank you. I sent them an email to every location. I will let you know when I hear back from them. Hopefully they can get the job done.
