Smile TRD 18'' alloy wheels on 2005 Camry?

I'm lookin to get some new wheels for my camry. Other than going back to the 16'' factory wheels (which I'd have to buy refurbished), I was thinking putting in the lil extra to get the TRD 18'' alloy wheels but I was wondering if anyone has them or has seen them on a Gen 5 (2005) camry. My goal is to something a bit sturdier than the aftermarket wheels out there since my current custom set has gotten so beaten up by the roads out here that one can barely hold air for two weeks.

If they work with the 2005, do you need to tweak it with any spacers? What tires work? Otherwise, any other suggestion for sturdier wheels?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm a noob.

They will work fine without spacers. What suspension are you running? lowered or stock height? Need to know that before a tire size can be suggested.

Personally i don't like the 10 spoke TRD's, but that is just me. I have 19 TRDs from the xB on mine.

I have stock suspension. Yea, I agree they might not be the best style fit for the car, but I'm looking for durability this around and I heard factory TRD wheels are pretty strong compared to the after-markets out there. 19 inches are a bit out of my budget including the tires. I'm hopefully looking for a tire size that fits both the car and my wallet.

remember too much rim will make the ride bumpy. if you can go on your local craigslist and see what people have to offer. i dont know if you want to stay with toyota but you can get rims from like hondas and nissan that will fit perfectly

Since he is on stock height, he can go to a tire with more sidewall, without ruining the feel and ride of the car.

Are they 18x7.5 or 18x8?

It's 18x7.5. More sidewall would be great since the tread will prob last longer... and maybe my ride will be a bit smoother.

You could do like 225/50(maybe even 55)/18 then.

Thanks, I'm going to look into getting maybe the 50-55 sidewalls just for durability and comfort.

I have 35 on my 19's and it is rough, and 45 on my 17's, it is a bit better ride, but i think for what you're looking for 50 or 55 would be perfect.
