Gen6 Toggle Switch

I know some of you guys have added accessories that are on a toggle switch, I am curious where you have hidden them that can quickly be flipped, I wanna put mine in the small pocket next to the cubbyhole and i can see a (rubber??) plug in the bottom but can not figure out how to get the plug out. I have my 2 switches stuck under the steering column with double sided tape and im not feeling them there i want them to me less awkward to find.... as i do not want a noise pollution ticket lol

What are you doing? I once installed a switch that grounded the ATT wire -- instant 20db or 30db attenuate I think it was.

Usually those plugs you just reach behind and pop it out. What I did was buy some random rocker switch from electronic supply store and then used a rotary tool to cut the appropriate opening and insert the switch.

I used something like this, but they come in different sizes and I don't remember the size of the plug. I think this one is OK though, only requires 1.1" x 1/2" cut out.

Here are some other ones:
Smaller and only rated to 6A @ 125VAC. The above one is rated for 25A which is probably overkill.
