OE Bosch Iridium (#9603) Spark Plugs

Hi, I am in the market for new spark plugs and came across OE Bosch Iridium (#9603) spark plug. How do these compare to the one that come stock with a 2007 automatic Camry SE (4cycl)? If anyone is using them currently, do you like them and would you buy then again?

Feel free to suggest other brands. Thanks.

I for one, would replace plugs with the OEM Denso or NGK plugs. When you consider that the new plugs will last five or more years, the savings by not using OEM plugs is not that much. I personally think Bosch products are over rated. Regards

How often are we supposed to replace spark plugs on our 6th gens? Mine's a 08 with 70k, never replaced.

The Bosch Iridiums sound impressive, but they price out about the same as NGKs. Use Bosch for European cars and NGK for Japanese cars.

OEM iridium plugs have platinum ground pads on the ground electrode. Should be fine for 120K miles. I prefer NGK ignition products. NGK's part number is IFR6T11. Bosch has the aftermarket line like the x2 and x4 plugs that probably no OEM uses. While I didn't have problems with them many people have complained. So stick to NGK.

Denso plugs are good too. I think NGK plugs have a larger platinum chip but I'm not sure if that is only with a certain model or an entire range of products.

It's not in the maintenance schedule that I could find, I think as part of the emissions equipment 80k warranty that was mandated they were required to last that long at a minimum. Most manufacturers say they are good for at least 100k now, but my experience repeatedly has been that they start falling off around the 80k mark and cause MPG loss or idle quality degradation. If I was you I'd start thinking about replacing them in the near future.
