Question Used Camry CE 6 Speed MT -2500 miles - 16000 drive out

Hi,

Looking at a 2010 Toyota Camry with 2,500 miles (Low Miles) on it.
Its a 6 speed manual transmission base model camry. Excellent condition.

I been always driving manual so this is what i want.

Dealer is offering it for $16,000 drive out.

Please advise from a pricing point of view. What do guys think.

Thanks in advance.

Well $16,000 for a very low mileage Camry isn't bad...but it is only a CE. No keyless entry and no power driver's seat. My 2011 Camry SE with the 6 speed manual and 7000 miles is only worth about $18,500.

I'd ask a bit lower, like low to mid $15k......drive out, are you saying that's including TTL?

The bigger question would be "Why do they have a 2500 mile 2010 Camry for sale?"

Was it wrecked? Was it a lemon buy back?

Crazy low mileage always sends up a red flag... and I am a car buyer by trade.

....or it could be some grandma that never drove it. 90% of our low mileage cars here have a similar story behind it

if you buying it from toyota dealer-go ahead.
if it is a small lot-take to body shop and inspected it.
if all good, ask for $500 off. this car brand new was around 18 grand and it was 2 years ago and gen7 just hit the ground- both these things affect price alot.

Its a grandpa grandma car. The car is in excellent condition.

Story -
The grandpa got the MT.
Too old to drive MT.
Keep the car for Year.
Grandma Pissed.
Grandpa trade it in for Autotmatic.
Grandma Happy.

This is the story i got from dealership............

I looked at the carfax and only one owner is reported.
No other incidents reported.

Secondly it has 3 year 36000 miles warrenty on it good until oct 2013.

The dealership is a Toyota Dealership and its huge .

After further negotiations here is the buy summary-
I have a 2006 corolla MT 94,000 Miles on it. I will be trading it in for this car. After tradein all i owe is 10,000 (This Includes TTL)

What do you think?

How long has it been on the lot? Manual trans Camry's are notoriously hard to sell and I'm thinking you could even get it cheaper. $16000 tax and tags included isn't bad at all but another $500 would sweeten the deal and give you money for a set of wheels.

Congrats!
I've got tint on my SE, it looks killer IMO. I'd also go with the SE spoiler, makes the car look 100x better. TRD lowering springs are also nice, they won't drop your car a ton but a little bit goes a long way.
