03 XLE gurlging noise after changing timing belt, etc.

Just took my V6 03 XLE to a mechanic to change the timing belt, water pump, and spark plugs. Runs great, like it always did, and for the record I just got to about 80,000 miles a week or two ago.

One problem after I got this all done a couple of hours ago. Every time I try to accelerate from a complete stop there's this gurgling noise that sounds like it's coming from the inside of the dash or maybe under the dash. Sounds like your stomach when you're hungry. Any idea what this could be?

It only happens as soon as I accelerate from a complete stop for about 2-3 seconds, and then it seems to go away.

You still have air in the cooling system. Bleed it out.

Remove the radiator cap and let the engine run until it reaches operating temp. You will probably see the coolant overflow until all of the entrained air is expelled from the system. Be sure to have the level in the overflow tank at the top mark[or higher] because coolant will be sucked into the engine when it cools down. Check the overflow tank several times after that. What you are hearing is coolant entrained with air circulating through the heater core.

I had the same, my coolant reservoir was low on coolant. Top it off and keep an eye, it should not go down much at all...
