my 2008 Camry LE did not come with fogs. i want to order some aftermarket ones on ebay. Its The Whole Kit. The Wires, Relay, Button, Housing, And Lamps. but i have a few questions
1. Would It Void My Warranty?
2. Should I Have Them Installed By Toyota?
3. Are They Hard To Install By Yourself?
2. Should I Have Them Installed By Toyota? Only if it would save your warranty and you can afford it. The dealer is usually the most expensive option.
3. Are They Hard To Install By Yourself? Not if you have patience and some skill in using simple tools and following directions. There are a few DIY's on this board for fog light installs depending on your car's year and whether or not your car's bumper cover has the holes for the fog lights.
Good luck!

it could and couldnt avoid the warranty. lets say you get a exhaust leak or something; they cant blame that on the fog lights. but if you get an electerical problem then they can say it was due to the fogs. but if the fogs are the stock looking fogs, then they wouldnt know if you installed them or not now would they.
i wouldnt get anything done by the dealer i would either due it by myself or another shop.
its not hard to install them. but the hardest part or parts can be running the switch wires into the car.

I had aftermarket fog lights put on my 2011 LE. Looks great and am happy with them.
Only issue was that the switch that came with the harness did not fit the cut out on the lower panel so had to make hole to fit the switch.

most kits ive seen dont come with the correct size or type of switch. try an ebay search for the oem switch. might get lucky. of you can buy a kit that has the correct switch

Ignore the dealer haters. Toyota offers a kit. Fits the best comes with a nice factory looking switch and won't void your warranty. Have a dealer do it and have warranty on your fogs. 12 mo unlimited miles. Yes there are some bad dealers, but there's also bad aftermarket shops too. Toyota kit has nice instructions too. I'll get you a part number, and suggested retail if you want it.
PS dealers aren't nearly as expensive as untrained parts replacers. Sorry, but haters tick me off.

Ive Heard Dealers Are Expensive. Do You Know The Price On The Kit From The Dealer? If so please let me know. Oh And Btw if you can get me the part number it would be very helpful. thank you i appreciate it
i installed aftermarket foglights on my 08 camry. the switch fitted perfectly, and had no problems its been almost a year. dealers charge alot for their fog lights plus that labor. my kit only costed me 60 came with relay, switch, housings, bulbs. they're easy to install imo

Yea, I was going to order the whole kit off ebay. the OEM kit, wit the bulb, housing, switch and relay just like you. I Was wondering if you can give me some type of Basic DIY Instruction On How To Install Them. It willl be very helpful and Id appreciate it a lot. Thanks.
When I commented on having aftermarket lights put on my Camry, I did not mean to slam Toyota dealers I have had repairs done at the dealership over the years on other Toyota producgts that I am happy with. But in this case I did not have an option as to having the dealer put them on. I as told by the dealer I purchased the car from that they could/would not do the work, and if I did have it done it would void the warrenty on the car.
I found a dealer in Florida that would sell me the lights, but no dealer in Northern California would install them. In fact I could not even order the kit from my local dealer. I was told by the east cost dealer that the way the distribution channels are set up at Toyota, only certain regions have access to certain parts. Not sure if this is true but it is what I was told.
Found a good reliable, Toyota repair garage, that was able to install them for me, and am satisfied with their work.

That makes zero sense. The dealer I work for installs fog lights after the sale all the time and it doesn't void any warranty whatsoever.

i can try. since mine installed already i cant do much with some parts
first you take the bumper off. and set the wiring harness in place like so. as you can see there is factory wiring there so you can use that to keep the other wire in place with zip ties.
next to get the wires in the battery there is space in between the headlight and the frame.
so now your wires are on the other side connect them to the battery take off the negative terminal first then hook up the positive wire then hook up the negative. after that you can plug in the relay and tuck everything in with zip ties or whatever
now you have to bring the switch wires too the other side. theres a hole neat the gas pedal you can use. start from the inside because of the big green connector and wrap the wires to a wire hanger then slip it through til it get to the other side once you see it on the other side grab come pliers and pull it out.
the hole should be right there
once you got it through you can connect the switch to the harness with the provided plug that its on there. think it was clear. i have no pic cuz the part i hid.
next you need to provide power to the switch. you want to find a 12v power source. i use the cigarette lighter as a power source so when the car turns off the fogs turn off, instead of having it on constant 12v. i took apart the console to get to the actual wires. fed the switch wires through to the other side youll see a hole if not i can get pics. then i used a t-tap and tapped in to the power.
after that you can slip the switch in to the hole and plug in the connector but first you should clean up the wires, feed fires alone metal frame thing and out the hole.
thats how i did it sorry if its confusing i cant write diy's lol any questions just ask. mounting the housings are easy do im guessin you can figurer that out
