How are you 6 gen owners installing your amps? I have two that I need to install and need some ideas. Pics would be nice.

If you have specific questions, I'll try to answer them the best I can, but I'm not going to do an entire write up on my amp install.

Oppps, I guess I should've been more specific in my question. I'm asking how everyone is mounting their amps. (I know how to run wires and hook up) I would like to keep it off the trunk floor. I'll usually mount them on the back of the rear seats but the 6th gen is not large enough.

How big is your amp? Mine is 19 x 12.5 in and fits on the backseat just fine.

Only thing is before putting the amp on, you need to secure a sheet of MDF because the metal behind the fabric is like Swiss cheese.

Unfortunately my model is an SE which only has a pass-through hole behind the armrest. My two amps can fit (snugly) but that stupid hole gets in the way. Looks like I may have to cover the back with some MDF as touringcamry suggested.

Thanks guys.

As much as car audio guys would bash me for saying this.. You can mount it to the box (assuming your placing subs) personally I wouldn't mount a amp under a seat unless you don't get rear passengers. Movement in the back seats could cause problems.
Not sure how big your amp is but I've heard of people removing the spare tire and mounting amps there.. With some custom fab work of course...just throwing some ideas your way.
