how can i change A/C expansion valve?

do u mean the expansion valve?

i wouldnt touch it.... i dont like messing with A/C componets plus you stil have to take it to a shop to get it discharged then recharged once the job is complete.... you may also need special tools; i also looked up the diagram for the A/C system, that thing is burried in the HVAC assembly which is burried inside the dash which means you'll have to rip the whole thing out to get to it

Good advice fatngs. You have to remove the dash before you can start disassembling the HVAC unit. This is one problem that would have me looking for a replacement vehicle.Regards

No reason an A/C repair should have you looking for a replacement vehicle. At worst a 1000 dollar repair is MUCH better than a whole new set of car payments.

Who diagnosed the expansion valve?
