02 v6 Camry JBL Radio to Navigation Swap

Just like the title says, looking to swap in a Nav unit onto my dads 2002 Camry. I've done stereo swaps and all, just looking for some info on how it'd work with the JBL speakers. Do I need to get a JBL compatible stereo?

Also my dad's looking to get an OEM Toyota. He was looking at this one.

Why does it look all messed up and stick out so much in the picture?

Thanks guys!

It looks like someone photoshopped it into a picture of the interior...

Probably photoshopped haha.

How would I go about hooking it up to that nav system? Doesn't the stereo with the JBL speakers require an amp or something?

I read somewhere you couldn't put a JBL stereo in a 05 Celica without JBL speakers so I'm assuming you can't put a regular stereo in a car with a JBL Stereo.

If you already have JBL speakers stock, you should already have the amplifier installed stock. The headunit simply connects to the amplifier. Your issue would be getting the navigation antenna connected to the head unit and setting up the antenna assembly

Well considering that the antenna comes with the unit, wouldn't it be as easy as finding a place to mount it such as the windshield or dash?

Oh, woops. In that case you should be fine, check PM for details

edit: er, reading through the ebay link again... "You will receive the radio as pictured in the actual photos only."

this sounds like you only get the head unit, not the navigation antenna and such...
