Crazy Candy Cane themed idea...

So I have this idea to sort of give my car a candy cane theme. I have a white 07 Camry LE(as in sig). Wondering if anyone's done anything similar. I want to either do one red spiral line around my car or do hood,trunk,mirrors,roof individually. What I would need for materials though not sure. Looking for temporary just through the holidays. And not to hard to get off my car and that allows me to still wash my car without ruining the red. Any ideas and constructive critiscism is welcomed.

IMO a lot of work just to decorate your car for the holidays.

only thing that comes to mind is a vinyl overlay... won't wash off and should still be easily removable.

Thanks for your reply. Yea it would be alot of work and probably take up a weekend. And right now my car is being repaired. I'll definatly check into vinyl overlay's!

If ya wanna go that route, I'm thinking red candy cane by striping tape (depends how thick) or vinyl overlays angled across car from one corner bumper diagonal across towards opposite rear bumper, then doing vinyl "snowflake"s in various matching color schemes?...and red/green leds
